We are scoping to develop a platform that will facilitate the customers to post their requirements by uploading images/ videos and the contractors will be able to bid as per their expertise. Thereafter, finding the best fit for the job. The contractor has to pay some amount to the platform (admin) to know the details of the customer.

There will be 2 types of users:

1. Customers: The customers will be able to post the job as per their requirements using a series of pictures and videos describing the job. This post will then be added to the BID PAGE where multiple contractors can bid on his post and can also ask the questions anonymously which the customer can answer. He can choose 3 preferred bids setting up in person estimates for the job. Once the job is done, the customer can rate and review the contractor as per his experience.

2. Contractors: The contractor will be able to bid on the job post posted by the customer on the bid page as per his expertise. He can post the questions anonymously and can pay the admin to know the information of the customer. He can chat with the customer over the in-person chat page to know more about the job and can tell the amount accordingly. Once the job is completed, he will receive the amount in his bank account which the customer will give to him.

The platform also facilitates 3 types of services, viz, handyman service, remodelling service and an emergency service.

1. Handyman service: The customer can select from the categories of handyman service he is looking for. The contractors will be notified by the posted job and the expertise contractor can bid and can get in touch with him by quoting the estimated time. The admin will charge some commission to the contractor to reveal the identity of the customer.
2. Remodelling service: The customer can post his job for the remodelling service he needs. Example: remodelling a room. The expert contractor will be notified by the job the customer posted and can bid on it and can provide his service to the customer. The admin will also charge his fees from the contractor to reveal the identity of the customer.
3. Emergency service: The platform provides a feature of emergency service wherein the customer can post the job he needs immediately and the contractor nearby his location will be notified by the job the customer posted. There will be fixed hourly charges for the contractor which he can take for providing the service. The admin will charge a 2 hour minimum for the services.

We will also have a web based admin who will monitor and manage various activities such as user account management (customer and contractor), categories and sub-categories, post management, commission management, reports, notifications, rate and review
